Moderator Elections?

DoorToNothing — I dreamed last night... I got on the boat to Heaven! And by some chance, I had brought my dice along! Hello, Azul, I'm DoorToNothing. I try to be a frequent editor on the Kingdom Hearts Wiki. Anyway, troisnexytienne and I were talking, and got to the subject of moderator elections. I was just wondering, how often are elections for new moderators?

I've looked over your contributions, but you should probably make a lot more before anything like that happens. If you're just wondering when new mods will be assigned, I would assume in the summer perhaps, since trois is gone and I'll be on vacation for a month. You've been doing a fine job so far though, but you should probably give yourself more experience before you think about anything else. Just keep up your helpful edits.

We give rollback (a.k.a Mod "powers") whenever we think the wiki needs new ones. At the beginning, there was nobody, so the FFWiki took it over and Admins were elected and chosen. Some editors were leaving, so we thought that there needed to be Mods (BebopKate, XienZo). After more Admins left, they (BebopKate, XienZo) became Admins and then the last of the FFWikians were gone. All that was left was BebopKate and XienZo. I am assuming that they (BebopKate, XienZo) also felt that the wiki needed new Mods. So, Guardian Soul, Ultima and Troisnyx were modded. Most of the time, we like our staff members to have experience and wikiknowledge. If you keep up your contributions, I'm sure that your name will be mentioned next time the staff feels that the wiki needs more Mods/Staff.

Images with bad names

Out of curiosity, can you move images with bad names instead of deleting them? I can move images on the Disgaea wiki, but I'm not sure if that's a bureaucrat power or an admin power. Perhaps we can change the Badname template if that is so? — Yuan^Saluto!_Acta 08:11, 4 June 2009 (UTC)

I was thinking that instead of saving and reuploading the image, then VFDing the old one, the Badname template should instead have "This file has been named incorrectly. It has been suggested that it be moved to {{{name}}}". Less work, but it does mean another log to hunt through for admins. Hello Azul, I'm Tokugawa_Ronin, a member of the Public Relations Team and partial Moderator over at The Kingdom Key, the official KH site on the Gamespy network. Our site is a few years old, but has recently been totally revamped by our new webmasters, in both the mainsite, and the forum boards as well.

Now, we are seeking out affiliates, in the hopes that both our site, and those we affiliate with might benefit from linking with each other. I think it's something important that we need to look into, considering all of the work that we do for this wiki. We don't want all of our work to go to waste just because we don't have any proof to back up our claims. Please take a look when you can.

Your the only one who can. check the talk pages before you revert an edit, always. it took me hours to make those lock shock and barrel pages the discussions all stated that they each had enough info to become independent pages. ask on my talk page if you wanna know more.

Guard Armor stats

I was going through the enemy pages, and I noticed that the Guard Armor's before and after stats are based off of what it has in the Phil Cup, rather than the Traverse Town and Hades Cup. Do you happen to know why these are the chosen stats before and after stats, and do you think it would be ok to change them to the Traverse Town (before stats choice) and Hades Cup (after stats choice)? Please and thank you! Oh, by the way, and edit to the TTT2 template brought all images down to 50px, but I just went and fixed yours to be back to normal, thanks to some new coding from Xiggie!

Yes, you can change them if you like. I didn't see anything wrong with my image in my talk template. The image looks bigger and makes my template stick out. Why was the TTT2 edited?

So, Xiggie added a new addition: imagesize=. So, all of the TTT2 images became 50px, which made all of them too small. But, I just went and put yours back to... 67px, was it? School was not so good ether: I got into trouble when a classmate said I did something wrong, when she did it herself. I wrote a letter to our Prime Minister about the Swine Flu and bad TV shows.
