Shield Charge (チャージガード Chāji Gādo, lit. "Charge Guard") is an ability in Kingdom Hearts III. It allows the user to charge power in their shield by blocking.
Mechanics
Shield Charge is an action ability exclusive to the Counter Shield and Frying Pan Formchanges. By holding down 
/
, Sora can briefly hold the shield in front of himself and block attacks from all directions. He can move around slowly while blocking, and imbue the shield with a powerful counterattack in two different stages.
