Omnislash (超究武神覇斬, Choukyūbushinhazan, lit. "Super-ultimate War-god Commanding Slash") is a technique introduced in Kingdom Hearts. It allows the user to deal many hits on one or more enemies, dealing great damage. It is a signature attack for Cloud, who often uses it in battle.

Mechanics

In Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories, Omnislash is a Summon Sleight. It summons Cloud to the battlefield, whereupon he flies across the field, periodically slashing at enemies. In Kingdom Hearts Re:Chain of Memories, additional attacks are added by pressing when prompted. Pressing at the wrong time will cancel the sleight.

In Kingdom Hearts Re:coded, Omnislash is a special ability used by Cloud in the Olympus Coliseum Keyhole. Cloud will randomly warp in front of and slash at an enemy four times, following the fourth slash up with two finishing strikes on the same enemy.

Origin

Omnislash is the signature attack of Cloud Strife, and his strongest Limit Break in Final Fantasy VII.
