Howdy. I'd estimate around 80% of my edits are on music articles, both creating new ones and fixing the formatting on existing ones. Since I'm working a lot with these music tracks, I'd like to request a janitor position; it would make editing a lot easier with the ability to move (and delete) track files, particularly when working with outdated files and pages. —[[User:Aid1043|Aid1043]] ([[User talk:Aid1043|talk]]) 17:21, 4 September 2022 (UTC)

While not a member of the staff, janitors are experienced and hard-working users with additional tools for editing. These tools include:

  • Being able to move files
  • Being able to delete pages and files
  • Being able to move pages and files without leaving a redirect

In order to obtain these tools, users can request them in the section below, and if the staff thinks the user is qualified, they will be promoted to janitor. Before being allowed to request janitor rights, users must have at least 100 edits on the Kingdom Hearts Wiki. These rights will not be removed due to inactivity, but users who abuse the rights or use them to edit war, will have their rights removed.

List of janitors

This is a list of all users with janitor rights.

Requesting janitor rights

To request janitor rights, add a subsection with your username and a reason why you want the rights.

JTD95 Application

Hi, I work a lot with images and my main goal is to help make this wiki look as visually pleasing as possible. It would be of great help to me if I were to be granted the tools that come with being a janitor. That way I can more sufficiently rename badly named images or remove duplicates and redirects without having to relay on mods and admins to help me.

Sincerely,
JTD95

I've had a short discussion with the other staff members, and we all agree that you're doing a great job with the images. So I hereby promote you to janitor. TheSilentHero 07:08, 6 May 2019 (UTC)

Samoa Joe Application

Yo! I'm throwing in a janitorial application myself for the same reasons as JT. Most of my contributions and edits revolve around media and just little general wiki adjustments. In the past, when there was a minor issue here or there, I would have to ask the higher-up site staff to fix the issue - renaming, moving, unlocking, etc. It would be far easier on everyone if I had just a wee bit more control with regards to stuff like that. If that's....you know, cool with you guys. --Samoa Joe (talk) 19:30, 17 June 2020 (UTC)

I've discussed this with the other staff members, and we think you'll make a good janitor. So, congratulations, you're a janitor now! TheSilentHero 17:03, 18 June 2020 (UTC)
Ah, thank you! :) --Samoa Joe (talk) 19:49, 18 June 2020 (UTC)

YeetusVanitas2010 Application

Heya, I'd like to request to become one of the janitors right here. Most of my reasons are the same as the previous two, as most of my edits are involving updating pages on content (EX: Writing Roxas' gameplay for KH3 Remind) and image renders (KHInsider current ones). I usually tend to edit for the sake of correcting mistakes or updating content. I think having more janitors would help this Wikia flow more better. If I get this role, I'd really be thankful for it. Thanks.

I've discussed this with the other staff members, and we think you're not quite suited for the position of janitor at the moment. Maybe you could try again some time in the future. TheSilentHero 17:05, 18 June 2020 (UTC)
