Blizzard Edge (ブリザドブレード, Burizado Burēdo, lit. "Blizzard Blade") is a technique that appears in Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep and Kingdom Hearts Re:coded. It allows the user executes a jumping attack while cloaked in ice, with ice bursting from the ground afterwards for additional damage in Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep.

Mechanics

In Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep, Blizzard Edge is a Basic (KHBbS)|attack command that has maximum level of 3, a normal reload time of 10 seconds, and fills the Command Gauge by 20%

In Kingdom Hearts Re:coded, Blizzard Edge is an (KHREC)|attack command that has a memory consumption of 13% and a reload time of 13 seconds.

Blizzard Edge is an Basic-class Attack Command that can be melded through four different recipes, listed in the Attack Recipe.

• The first recipe can be melded by Terra, Ventus, Aqua, and is a type H recipe that has a 5% chance of transforming into Ars Arcanum when Ventus meld it.
  • Quick Blitz (LV2) + Blizzara (LV2)
• The second recipe can be melded by Terra, Ventus, Aqua, and is a type G recipe that has a 5% chance of transforming into Ars Arcanum when Ventus meld it.
  • Quick Blitz (LV2) + Blizzard (LV2)
• The third recipe can be melded by Terra, Ventus, Aqua, and is a type G recipe that has a 5% chance of transforming into Ars Arcanum when Ventus meld it.
  • Sliding Dash (LV2) + Blizzara (LV2)
• The fourth recipe can be melded by Terra, Ventus, Aqua, and is a type E recipe that has a 5% chance of transforming into Ars Arcanum when Ventus meld it.
