| In ''Kingdom Hearts'', the Adamant Shield is roughly pentagonal in shape and has smooth, curved bottom edges. It is predominantly navy-colored, though upper half of the face of the shield sports three blue rectangles arranged side-by-side, while the lower half sports one blue rectangle, this one horizontal and curved upward. There is a small, pale yellow circle on the bottom of each of the three upper rectangles. There are also three large, grey screws on the bottom and the top two corners of the shield.

| In ''Kingdom Hearts II'', the Adamant Shield's appearance changes drastically. It is slightly smaller and much more rounded. It is mainly orange in coloration, and the upper corners of the shield are missing in this incarnation. Instead, there is a yellow rod bent at a 90 degree angle attatched to each corner. There is a small gap between the shield and each of the rods. The face of this version of the Adamant Shield is dominated by a green hexagon pattern with a black outline, reminicent of Goofy's shell in his [[Tortoise Form]].
