Summon Charms are special items that appear in Kingdom Hearts II. They allow Sora to summon certain allies to help him during his journey. They are obtained after significant story events or found in chests. Unlike summons of the first two games, which summoned mostly characters from lost worlds from the summon gems containing them or memory versions of them, these summons bring in characters that are still active in undestroyed worlds.
The Baseball Charm summons Chicken Little. The Lamp Charm calls upon Genie. The Ukulele Charm invokes Stitch. Lastly, the Feather Charm is unique in that it summons both Peter Pan and Tinkerbell.
In place of summon charms, summon gems and summon cards are the items used to access summons in Kingdom Hearts and Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories.
Story
Kingdom Hearts II
As Sora, Donald, and Goofy continue their journey, Merlin brings them back to Hollow Bastion after the completion of their second world to provide them with both Pooh's storybook and their initial summon charm, as well as to explain the basics of summoning. After the visit to Agrabah, Genie resumes services as a summonable ally once he reunites with Sora and company. - Baseball Charm: Received from Merlin after he explains about Pooh's book to Sora, in Hollow Bastion.
- Lamp Charm: Given to by Genie after Sora's first visit to Agrabah.
- Ukulele Charm: Found in a chest in Ansem's Study during Sora's second visit to Hollow Bastion.
- Feather Charm: Found in a chest in the Ship Graveyard: Interceptor's Hold during Sora's second visit to Port Royal.
