Ventus appears as a mini-boss in at the Land of Departure in both Terra's storyline and Aqua's storyline. Ventus (as himself) is fought by Terra in a training match, and later (under Vanitas's possession while wielding the X-Blade) also appears as the penultimate boss in Aqua's story in the Keyblade Graveyard, fighting Aqua and Mickey Mouse (which takes place simultaneously with Ventus final battle with Vanitas within their Awakening.
