The Organization XIII Device is an "item" which Roxas frst sees when he is ordered to place one in the Cave of Winders Lamp Chamber. Soon after, he is attacked by a Land Armor, which he assumes is trying to destroy the device. The device is revealed to use the lingering power of Sora's true memories to grant power to Xion to eliminate and absorb Roxas.
