- —Simba, when using Wildcat
King's Pride is a limit that appears in Kingdom Hearts II. Together, Sora and Simba can use the joint attack, Wildcat.
Mechanics[edit]
In Kingdom Hearts II, King's Pride is an action ability exclusive to Simba. It costs 3 AP to equip and all of Sora's MP to use. The Limit begins with Wildcat (プラウド Puraudo , lit. "Proud"), where Sora and Simba leap forward as rocks erupt around them, damaging enemies. Afterwards, X-Claw (エクスクロー Ekusu-Kurō ) can be used from the Attack slot to allow the duo to dash towards enemies and slash furiously, while High Fang (ハイファング Hai Fangu ) is available as a Reaction Command to cause the duo to rapidly spin in the air towards enemies. After twenty cumulative uses of X-Claw and High Fang, the finishing move, Proud Roar (キングスロア Kingusu Roa , lit. "King's Roar"), is usable, in which Sora and Simba release a damaging roar that creates beams of light around them. Sora can move freely during this limit. The limit can be cancelled early through the Stop (やめる Yameru ) command in the Limit slot.
