Zero Gear ⑤ (Xemnas) |
Interdiction is a pair of Ethereal Blades that can be wielded by Xemnas in Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days. It serves as Xemnas's signature weapon as it is his weapon of choice in Kingdom Hearts Final Mix and Kingdom Hearts II.
Design
Interdiction has a very simple design; it is a straight rod of energy that glows red.
When striking a target, it creates a sphere of glowing red lightning, the same color as Interdiction.
Interdiction is a military term, as an action to divert, disrupt, delay, or destroy the enemy's surface military potential before it can be used effectively against friendly forces.
Gameplay
Interdiction's ground combo consists of a single slash from left to right, a double slash from right to left, and the launching of four blades along a vertical arc. A -Combo can be activated after the double slash, to make Xemnas launch the blades along a horizontal arc instead of a vertical one.
The aerial combo consists of a quick spinning slash, a short-range double-spin slash, and a medium-range double-spin attack.
