Isn't this just redundant to Universe of Kingdom Hearts? What is this page for? --Neumannz, The Dark Falcon 16:47, 3 July 2012 (UTC)

The section in the Universe of Kingdom Hearts only covered World Party Members, not regular party members. I also removed it from that page but I see now that my edits have been reverted sort of. The Universe of KH talks about, traveling between worlds, worlds themselves and realms. World Party Members seemed kind of out of place which was why I removed it. - JTD95 17:09, 3 July 2012 (UTC)

Rename[edit]

To Party members (we could even drop the 's' too)? TheFifteenthMember 20:47, 13 September 2013 (UTC)

Battle Styles[edit]

We haven't covered these anywhere. Should we make a page for it? TheFifteenthMember 13:51, 7 July 2015 (UTC)

Probably could just cover it as a section on here."We're werewolves, not swearwolves." (KrytenKoro) 15:52, 7 July 2015 (UTC)

Considering this is essentially a list of party members page, I don't think that's a good idea. We could make a page on Artificial Intelligence as part of the series of gameplay mechanics articles. That'd also include information on KH1's mechanics and the ability conservation settings you can put in. Alternatively, we should remake this page to make it less like a list and more explanatory on how party members work in each game (preferred). TheFifteenthMember 17:00, 7 July 2015 (UTC)

I don't see the virtue in having an article that is merely a list. Battle Styles are fundamentally a part of the mechanics of the party member paradigm, and the article about "party members" is the most logical place to discuss how party members work. Dream Eater mechanics would make sense to spin off, since they are much more involved, and possibly the two Re:coded systems as well, but the article as is doesn't really do much of worth."We're werewolves, not swearwolves." (KrytenKoro) 19:40, 7 July 2015 (UTC)
Do you think the article should train the galleries or should we put them in collapsible tables? TheFifteenthMember 21:15, 7 July 2015 (UTC)
I would think a collapsible table with columns for world, weapon, starting equipment, and limit, a la Dimension Link, would be a good idea."We're werewolves, not swearwolves." (KrytenKoro) 21:58, 7 July 2015 (UTC)
I did a (very rushed) draft here. I'll fix it later, but is there any other parameters that are needed for KH anyway? TheFifteenthMember 19:46, 8 July 2015 (UTC)

Draft[edit]

I've completed my draft for the page, but many of the tables need work and it's not entirely up to scratch. Can I have some help with it? TheFifteenthMember 18:45, 10 October 2015 (UTC)

Bump. Some specific questions I have are whether the party members tables look clean enough, how to improve the KH1 AI options table, whether the KHD (and maybe RCO) tables are necessary, and whether there should just be a general mechanics section because lots of the info for KH1 and KH2 is repeated. TheFifteenthMember 19:26, 21 October 2015 (UTC)

Unless there's any objections, I'm going to transfer the draft onto the actual page now. TheFifteenthMember 19:33, 3 November 2015 (UTC)

Other allies[edit]

So I forgot to ask earlier, but Lumiere and Mrs. Potts are allies during the dungeon "minigame", where you light the lanterns, right? --Neumannz, The Dark Falcon 03:02, 5 November 2015 (UTC)

They trigger RCs so I would say yes. I'm guessing the reason they're excluded from the Ultimania is they don't actually fight in battle. If we're counting field RCs, Dolphin from KH1 would also have to be included. TheFifteenthMember 18:01, 5 November 2015 (UTC)

After checking it out, you have to "Examine" the Dolphin to grab hold of him, making him more like a prop. Should we consider him an ally? TheFifteenthMember 21:21, 7 November 2015 (UTC)

I wouldn't, it's more of a feature of the environment. A prop, yes. --Neumannz, The Dark Falcon 07:35, 8 November 2015 (UTC)

Two things[edit]

Firstly, shouldn't this page be called Party member? Secondly, Megara doesn't actually offer any reaction commands and all she does is throw prizes at Sora, making her more of a prop than a party member. I think she should be removed from this page. TheFifteenthMember 11:48, 20 February 2016 (UTC)

Move to Party member[edit]

Unbelievably, I brought this up as far back as 2013 but really, should we not move this to Party member? --TheFifteenthMember 11:48, 16 September 2020 (UTC)

I'm all for it, but either change the links here or keep the redirect. Thanks. --ShardofTruth 19:20, 16 September 2020 (UTC)
