An error?[edit]

What kind of pages? Enemies? --Neumannz, The Dark Falcon 16:20, 16 January 2015 (UTC)
Most Heartless pages. It happens to MonoBook. RikutheBloody 16:42, 16 January 2015 (UTC)

Fixed it. There was an open span tag on the HeartlessDirectory template. TheSilentHero 17:42, 16 January 2015 (UTC)

Okay. Thanks. RikutheBloody 18:15, 16 January 2015 (UTC)

Kingdom Hearts III Air Soldier[edit]

So, would we count the drastically different Air Soldier from Kingdom Hearts III as the same Heartless or will it get a new page with parenthesis? SeanWheeler (talk) 02:04, 10 February 2019 (UTC)

Its Japanese name is the same, so it is the same Heartless. They just made a new version of it for KH3 Lady Junky (talk) 02:09, 10 February 2019 (UTC)

Air Soldier and Trick Ghost[edit]

So... now we have 2 Trick Ghosts species, and I see you want make 2 different articles for them. And now I will like to know. Why they have different articles, and Air Soldiers don't even if they are obviously different Heartless. The "attacks are the same" is not a reason so convincing since in KH3 exist a lot of different species that are just reskins (Soldier/High Soldier, Large Body/Helmed Body, Satyr/Machanitaur), and Trick Ghost have the same name for both jap and eng. So, if the problem is the same, why this Heartless are treated in different ways? Or both have the same articles or both (all four) have different articles at this point. I mean... both Air Soldiers are totally different.--93.41.38.64 07:50, 25 July 2019 (UTC)

Attacks being the same is a compelling reason, because it means that this is little more than a costume change -- even the basic skeleton of the enemy is the same. The KH3 Air Soldier fills the same niche as the KH1 version, as well. The situation with the Trick Ghost is not the same -- you have one enemy whose whole gimmick is that it can flip over to switch to a different type of combat, versus another whose gimmick is that they absorb Magic attacks. They in no way have similar skeletons, attacks, or niches.
Other enemies being reskins doesn't enter into it. The game makes a point of differentiating them. We only distinguish between same-named topics when they are fundamentally and irreconcilably different topics. This is in accordance with that."We're werewolves, not swearwolves."
