Keyblade-Blk.png I've noticed that the wiki has not standardized how we display text when we link to a mission from Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days. Half of the time, I see "Mission 93", the other half I'll see "Mission 93: Believe". I cannot seem to find any kind of usage that denotes whether to use one or the other around the wiki, and the differences tend to occur in prose or paragraph writing.

Is this purposeful, or simply incorrect? Moreso, which was decidedly preferred by the wiki?

Eternal Nothingness XIII - Terra Master Symbol.png I'm not afraid of what the darkness holds now. Even if you do wrest control of my heart from me, even if you cast me into the deepest, darkest abyss, you'll never sway me from the one cause that pushes me to keep on fighting. Whatever the cost, I'm ready to pay it.

Earthshaker Keychain KHBBS.png While I find that both work, I always thought it was written as "Mission 93" because it was easier than writing "Mission 93: Believe" however many times. But the full title of the Mission is "Mission 93: Believe." I personally feel it should be written as such.

EDIT: Actually, I would go with whatever the game lists it as.

What does that mean? The missions are all listed in the menus by their full names, but in casual conversations (like getting a side objective from one of the sitters in the Grey Room) they use just "Mission ##", if I remember correctly. --Neumannz, The Dark Falcon 03:02, 21 July 2011 (EDT)

Earthshaker Keychain KHBBS.png The full name of the mission is Mission 93: Believe. That should be the article title in my opinion. Since the game uses both methods to refer to mission names (simply the latter and Mission ##), I see no reason as to why there is a problem with the linking method. People, unless they are lazy, write which method fits best in a sentence. Otherwise they use what's easiest to write.

I personally find saying "In the aftermath of Mission 92: Xion, Roxas returns to the World That Never Was in an attempt to reclaim Kingdom Hearts and revitalize Xion in Mission 93: Believe." sounds worse than saying "In the aftermath of Mission 92, Roxas returns to the World That Never Was to reclaim Kingdom Hearts and revitalize Xion in Mission 93."

With that approach, I'd say title the mission article by its full name, but otherwise link to "Mission ##." But there are instances when the full name should be used in a sentence, such as the opening sentences of articles, where we clearly state the Mission's full name.

In the end, though, since the game supposedly uses both (I cannot remember too well, myself), naming methods are correct and I see no reason why we have to limit ourselves to just one of them.

KrytenKoro - "That's when we bumped into Hannity. Sean Hannity. See the thing about this dude is, at first he's fair, right? And you're like "Wow!" But then BOOM. The dude's balanced, too. And you're like, HOLY SHIT."
TALK -
The mission article titles should absolutely include the mission name, as they do now. However, any links to them, besides the redirects, should be to the simplified title, "Mission ##". There are no situations where it is more elegant to include the full title in prose, barring some kind of discussion like a list of changes for a hypothetical Re:Days—"In Mission 93: Believe, Roxas figures out what the hell is going on instead of continuing to be clueless the entire story, as in the original game."

And the titles absolutely should not appear within story synopsis, even when storylinks are used. It's not like Saix was sitting there at his desk, thinking "What should I title Roxas's unofficial mission to kill us all? Oh right, 'Believe' is good."
