Backslide

Backslide (バックスライド, Bakkusuraido) is an ability in Kingdom Hearts III. It allows the user to slide directly behind themselves and evade attacks.

Mechanics

In Kingdom Hearts III, Backslide is an action ability exclusive to the Magic Launcher and Twin Yo-Yos Formchanges. It is activated by pressing / while standing still. It can also be used to initiate Flowmotion when used towards a pole or a wall.

• Using Sliding Shot during the Double Arrowguns Formchange without tilting will cause Sora to dodge backwards in a similar manner to Backslide, with projectiles fired when in combat.
• Using Avatar Shift during the Mirage Staff Formchange without tilting will cause Sora to dodge backwards in a similar manner to Backslide, with copies created when in combat.
