I've done around a quarter of the articles that I put my name down for. If I finish the fist half (Auto Brave to Blobmob), then could you work on the second half? (Block to Card Soldier). Don't feel like you have to do this, but if you could I'd be very grateful =D. KrytenKoro's second last post here explains how to synch properly. On a side note, welcome to the wiki! =)

About redirects, just make sure that the wikia pages and the khwiki.net pages both redirect to the same place. =)

Hidden Mickey

Your face is priceless. — 19:26, 23 February 2011 (EST) I know this might seem random, but I see that you have a pet peeve with the term "Hidden Mickey" being used when the Mickey head is in plain sight. However, the name is a slight misnomer, so I assure you, even if the head is clear as day, it's still officially called a "Hidden Mickey". There's even a wikipedia article on them. Here's the site.

...Hmmm...Well, you're right, and I'm wrong, thanks for pointing this out--I just need to restate myself. If the Mickey head is simply the plain, solid symbol, like a suit's symbol on a card, and it is obviously meant as a part of something's design, it isn't a Hidden Mickey (it's a decorative Mickey in this case). Examples include the Mickey head on Goofy's shield, the symbol on the rainguard of the Victory Line Keyblade, the various pistons seen in Disney Town's underground, the one around the last "E" in Disney Castle's KHII logo, and the one used as one of the key components of a keychain, the token, on various keychains such as Kingdom Key's.

However, if it's the plain, solid symbol, but it's really not quite that obvious at first, it's a Hidden Mickey. For example, in (at least the concept art of) the Audience Chamber in Disney Castle, I dunno if I'd notice the Mickey heads at the bases of the pillars at the throne-side wall, what with the same coloring and the embellishment around them. Another example is the drawing in the cave on Destiny Islands.

Also, if it's made up of other things into a Mickey head or isn't painted/drawn on, and it's not 100% obvious at first, it's a Hidden Mickey. For example, the device seen at around 1:41 in this video is made up of various things and gadgets, but it wouldn't be 100% obvious at first to some people (especially from the concept art of that room). You might say that there's one in a giant gear cylinder in the same room. (However, the Mickey head-shaped entrance around the "exit" in the same room is not a Hidden Mickey.) Another example is in one of the bigger, mazelike rooms in the Underworld (forgot what it's called; it might be in the Underworld Caverns): There are multiple huge, foam-bubble-like rock "blisters" all over the place; if the developers intended it to be so, then I'd say that at least a few of them are Hidden Mickeys. (The clocktower of Twilight Town isn't; the "ears" are way too far from the "head", and there's the matter of shape.)

Finally, whether it's plain-solid-symbol or not, if it's in a place that's kinda hard to see or it's really tiny in relation to the rest of the part of the object it's on, it's a Hidden Mickey. I'd say that this alleged Hidden Mickey atop the doors to Traverse Town is a Hidden Mickey, if I could find a shot of it. Another example is the aforementioned Hidden Mickey on Destiny Islands--that thing's SMALL.

I'm not 100% sure the Mickey head has to be complete to be a HM; if it doesn't, then I'd say at least the ones on the cards are Hidden Mickeys. It took me quite some time to realize those were Mickey ears, not puzzle-like holes. *is clueless*

Anyway, I'll do some more research sometime into what is or isn't a Hidden Mickey, but if I find something that I think isn't a Hidden Mickey, I'll change it.

Oh, and some stuff from the article you linked me that you may wanna take another look at:

"A Hidden Mickey is a representation of Mickey Mouse that has been inserted subtly into the design of a ride, attraction, or other location in a Disney theme park or elsewhere on Disney properties."

"A true Hidden Mickey is one that is not meant to be seen immediately, and is usually placed purposefully by a Disney Imagineer or artist in a context that would not normally contain Mickey Mouse. When the shape of Mickey Mouse is used as an obvious part of the design, such as Mickey ears on the top of lampposts, it is considered decorative and sometimes referred to as a "decor Mickey.""
