This one going to take a while...

Throughout the Kingdom Hearts Series you will encounter several characters that can be placed in your 'party'. These characters, once placed in your Party, will fight alongside you using unique fighting styles. While some characters can be placed in your party manually, others are automatically placed in your party and can not be removed e.g Riku in Kingdom Hearts, first Parasite Cage battle in Monstro. There are also Summons and D-Links that will fight alongside you when called upon, that can be classified as Party Members.

Kingdom Hearts Birth By Sleep

Terra

One of the main protagonists, Terra is a playable character as well as a Party Member and D-Link. He wields the Keyblade alongside his friends Aqua, and Ventus, attemting to eliminate the Unversed threat and conquer his darkness. His signature Keyblade is the Earthshaker, but it permanantly takes the form of Ends of the Earth after Terra is possessed by Master Xehanort.. Terra summons his Keyblade in a very unique way. The weapon is summoned like data, the numbers then replaced by cubes. Terra is the most powerful of the trio in terms of Damage Aspect. He uses slow but heavy and hard-hitting attacks to demicate his enemies. Terra's unique Command Styles include Critical Impact (Lvl 1), Rockbreaker (Lvl 2), and Dark Impulse (Lvl 2). His unique Shotlocks include Dark Volley, Sonic Shadow, and Ultima Cannon. Ultima Cannon, Terra's Ultimate Shotlock, consists of Terra's Keyblade morphing into a gigantic cannon, firing humongous blasts at his enemies. As a D-Link, Terra focuses primarily on powerful attacking commands along with gravity and binding magic to stop the enemy's movements, allowing for easier attacks.

Ventus

Ventus, also known as Ven, is one of the main protagonists. Ventus is a playable character as well as a Party Member and D-Link. He wields the Keyblade alongside his friends Terra, and Aqua, attempting to eliminate the Unversed threat, and unlock his past, while chasing his Dark Doppleganger Vanitas. His signature Keyblade is the Wayward wind, a reference to Ventus's Latin name Wind. His unique Command styles feature Fever Pitch, Cyclone, and Wingblade. His signature Shotlocks are Pulse Bomb, and Multivortex. Multivortex, Ventus's Ultimate Shotlock, consists of quickly slicing the enemy with swift barrages of blades of energy. While Ventus is summoned as a D-Link, the player can use swift and quick commands, reflecting Ventus's swift fighting style.

Aqua

Aqua is one of the main protagonists of Birth By Sleep. She is a Keyblade Wielder and pupil of Master Eraqus, the only of which to pass her Mark of Mastery Exam and become a Keyblade Master. Alongside Terra and Ven, she aims to eliminate the Unversed threat. Her unique CommandStyles include Spell Weaver (Lvl 1), Ghost Drive (Lvl 2), and Sky Climber (Lvl 2). Her unique Shotlocks are Prism Rain, Bubble Blaster and Lightbloom. Lightbloom, Aqua's Ultimate Shotlock, consists of Aqua spinning around, while shooting out Orbs of Light from her Keyblade. Aqua's signature Keyblade is the Rainfell, a reference to the name Aqua, and her Latin name Water. Aqua specialises in Magic, and can be classed as a Mage. While summoned as a D-Link, the player can utilize powerful magic attacks.

Lingering Will

The Lingering Will is the lost mind of the keyblade Wielder, Terra, residing within his discarded Keyblade Armor after his body is possessed by Master Xehanort. The Lingering Will's attacks are identical to Terra's basic Air and Ground combo's, and even wields Terra's Keyblade Ends of the Earth.

Mickey Mouse

Mickey is a Party Member, and D-Link for Aqua and Ventus. He appears in the first battle against Vanitas at the "Badlands" on Ventus story, and in two battles during Aqua's story, the first one where they fight off several Unversed to save a young a Kairi, the second being Aqua's fight with Ventus-Vanitas. During the battle against the Unversed, he does little than slash at the enemy, otherwise his attacks are not noteworthy. During the fight with Ventus-Vanitas, not only is is HP never in need of restoration, but he also grants Aqua the Burst of Faith command, where he shoots beams of light from his Keyblade. While summoned as a D-Link, the player can either create an aerial attack known as "Lightcharge", or release multiple spheres of light to inflict damage on the enemy with "Faithcharge".

Zack

Zack is Party Member and D-Link. He appears as a Party Member after he rushes out to fight several Unversed alongside Ventus and Hercules. All he really does is run to the enemy and hit them with his sword. Ocasionally, he will use his "Blade Beam" like attack on an enemy. As a D-Link, Zack focusses on physical attacks, and give the "Hero's Entrance", an attack similar to Cloud Braver, and " Hero's Pride", similar to Cloud famous Omnislash.

Experiment 626

Experiment 626, better known as "Stitch", is a Party member for Ventus and Aqua, and serves as a D-Link for the trio. In Aqua story, she fight alongside him against several unversed in the prision chamber of Deep Space. Later, he helps her in the boss battle against the gargantuan Captain Gantu, granting Aqua the Astro Shot command, throwing 626 into Gantu face, blinding him for a few seconds. As Ventus, 626 participates in the fight against the Metaphormosis Unversed, giving the Asto Shot command to Ventus as well, a key factor in the battle, due to the Unversed latching itself on the ship power source, and the friend command being the only way to stop him. As a D-Link, 626 focusses on thunder-based commands, and allow the player ro use the Random Beam and Ohana Beat finishers.

Kingdom Hearts

Sora

Sora is the main character in Kingdom Hearts. He is the only playable character as well as a Party Member. Sora wields the Keyblade as his weapon, and fights the Heartless alongside Donald and Goofy, while searching for his friends Riku and Kairi. Sora possesses several unique abilities and weapons. Although he has 5 special ablities that can be activated by selecting the bottom command at the right time. These moves include Sonic Blade, Strike Raid, Ars Arcanum, Ragnarok, and the Trinity Limit. He is also known to possess abilities that increase combo legnth and combo starters/finishers such as Vortex or Blitz. Sora wields his Keyblade with a two-handed low guard during his initial strikes, although he often finishes with one handed swings. He is also known to use the 'teeth' of his Keyblade in some attacks. Sora is also very skilled in various basic magic spells (such as Fire, Blizzard, or Thunder), even more so after training with Merlin. These spells allow him to weaken Heartless that are more vulnerable to certain elements. He can also use Cure to heal himself and his allies from injuries as well as restore HP and revive a fallen party member.
