I noticed there were some redesigns for Roxas' character model (see right; there's the checkerboard design on his coat, hair has more detail, etc.) Is this true for Roxas alone or were there changes to others? (most likely the latter) [[User:Maggosh|Maggosh]] 03:47, 30 August 2009 (UTC)

Revision as of 03:47, 30 August 2009

See http://www.kh2.co.uk, which now hosts scans of Sora fighting Marluxia and Lexaeus. I don't know why he's fighting Lexaeus - that's supposed to be Riku - but he fights both of them wearing his new clothes. Hmm... Scottch 07:15, 26 January 2007 (UTC)

  • Apparently, in Final Mix+, you can fight the Chain of Memories Organization members without any storyline impact. Lucky Japanese people... Wynaut 22:13, 22 March 2007 (UTC)

Clarify

There are a few sentences I found confusing in the article:

  • time limit increased to 2 minutes to 90 seconds
  • the time to open the the switch has increased to 30 to 45 seconds
  • Filling the Drive Gauge is easier (for instance, originally you got 1 1/3 of a bar of attacking bosses, but now you get 3/4)

Can somebody clarify those? —Shidou 04:46, 17 January 2008 (UTC)

The drive guage thing is rather simple: In the original version of KH2, you'd gain a third of a drive bar for attacking a boss, but in FM+ you'll get three quarters of your bar filled up. The Hexed
By “attacking a boss”, do you mean landing one hit, killing it, or what? Thanks for the reply. —Shidou 04:59, 17 January 2008 (UTC)
I don't know. The Hexed
Fixed (or do you disagree?). --Hecko X 14:44, 17 January 2008 (UTC)
I trust you, so this looks alright. I just hope that the original author did mean decrease in the first point, and that the drive gauge comparison isn’t needed. —Shidou 18:28, 17 January 2008 (UTC)
How would you increase 120 seconds to 90 seconds..? And the comparison was based on approximations. Approximations can be used, but explaining the basis of them (which is usually required) would disrupt the flow of short statements present in the section. --Hecko X 18:37, 17 January 2008 (UTC)
The original author does not have good writing, so there’s the possibility that they meant ‘increased to 2 minutes from 90 seconds’, as the trend is an increase in everything. The drive gauge statement can be short if only the quantitative measurement is written, because it would be redundant to say that the drive gauge is easier to fill up. —Shidou 18:51, 17 January 2008 (UTC)
However, with a few minutes worth of research, you'd know that the "original" battle lasted 2 minutes, which means that that wouldn't be the case. But why is it redundant to say that the drive gauge is easier to fill up? We have no 'exact' measurements and we have no 'exact' mathmatical formular, all we can say is that by taking the exact same course of action in a situation with no other variables, the Drive Gauge will have increased more in KHII:FM+ than in KHII, in other words, "it's easier to fill", or, "it fills quicker". Unless you have a better way of stating it, I would say it is perfectly fine as it is. --Hecko X 19:02, 17 January 2008 (UTC)

(Undent) If you did the research, then that’s good. Regarding the measurements, it should be fine to write the approximate values. It’s just unnecessary to put both the relative and numerical comparisons in the same line when only one of them—preferably the latter—is needed. —Shidou 20:53, 17 January 2008 (UTC)

Mystery!

I find it weird that this article is accessible despite the Plus sign. How is that possible? Blue。 12:11, 18 January 2008 (UTC)

EGM Rumors

When you guys wrote down that rumor that EGM magazine believes it will come to the US in Fall 2008, didn't you confuse it with the original rumor of the Fall 2007 release that was proven to be false. Or did they make another article in that magazine that happened to mention that.

American PS2-Compatable Versions

Can someone tell me where I can get an American PS2-Compatable version of Final Mix+? Are they only purchasable offline? Can you only Really import them in? Even better question:Can they still be shipped? KingChaosvii7 22:57, 17 May 2008 (UTC)

Ain't no such thing - sorry. Easy to get hold of the Japanese version though (and it works in any NTSC-J PS2 - Chinese ones will work too). SaviourSeph 13:29, 9 August 2008 (UTC)

well, there is a way, but it's only the closest you can get to having a REAL final mix+....swap magic.DiSlOcAtOr ChRiS 10:13, 9 January 2009 (UTC)

Petition

Why is the petition from American fans? There are plenty of us here in the UK (and the rest of the world outside of Japan and America) that want it too, you know. Not that it matters, since Square-Enix probably won't ever release the Final Mixes outside of Japan no matter how many of their worldwide fans they torment as a result. International

I hate to ask something like this but it's been bugging me. My best friend said he was going to buy me Kingdom Hearts II:Final Mix+, then he tells me one day that since the game isn't in english, you need a Japanese PS2 to play it. I didn't think there was a diffrence since you can change the language setting on the PS2. I didn't want to sound selfish so I just pretended to believe him. can anyone tell me if this is true?

Untitled-1.png I know that you can hack your PS2 somehow, and make it work, but otherwise, it won't.

I bought the game, and it didn't work...
