Symphony Master

The Symphony Master (シンフォニーマスター, Shinfonī Masutā^?) is an Unversed boss fought in Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep in the Castle of Dreams by Terra.

Story

Some time after Cinderella and Prince Charming met, Terra spotted some Unversed on the balcony. Terra raced onto the balcony only to encounter the Symphony Master who promptly attacks him with its instruments. the Grand Duke tries to call the guards but they didn't appear so Terra fought it off.

Appearance

The Symphony Master has the basic appearance of a band conductor, wearing a tall shako colored both gold and magenta, baggy pants decorated with a gold trim, and formal reddish-pink suit. Its black arms end in white-gloved hands, one holding a gold conductor's baton. The Symphony Master also has black feet similar to formal boots. It also has horn-like "ears" and a horn-like protrusion on the back of its head.

Strategy

At the start of the battle, the player should immediately activate their Shoot Lock tactic in order to deal the most damage as possible at a relatively fast rate. It is then a matter of repeating this process while dodging the Symphony Master's attacks and jumping to land your own on the boss itself and the massive instruments surrounding it.

The first line of defense this Unversed has are the instruments that fight for it, the Symphony Master commanding either its violin, trumpet, or drum to attack. It may also cause all three instruments to charge at Terra at the same time. It should be noted that destroying these instruments grants rewards such as HP Balls and Munny. The Symphony Master will then shine with dark energy that damages when touched upon its instrument's destruction, so it is best to keep away from the boss at this point. The Symphony Master may then jump, causing a massive shockwave to erupt upon landing, this topic best dodged by a run or jump at the right moment. It is after this attack that the boss may extend the length of its conductor's baton and use it like a boomerang. Also, on a side note, attacking the boss enough times will cause it to drop its hat leaving it open to more attacks until it picks it up again

It is not necessary to destroy the instruments in order to defeat the Symphony Master. Heal when necessary and continue to use the proper Deck Commands as necessary. The Unversed will then fall with relative ease.
