Pirates are enemies from Kingdom Hearts and Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories. Not to be confused with the Undead Pirates.
Pirates are the Heartless underlings of Captain Hook. They are close associates with Air Pirates and Battleships.

Heartless that mostly appear in Neverland. They are quite combative with their swords. They often just focus on the enemies in front, making them vulnerable to attacks from behind.
