Mowgli's power was channeled by the Book of Prophecies into the Mowgli & Baloo and the Mowgli and Pals medals.

Origins

Mowgli first appeared in Rudyard Kipling's 1894 story collection The Jungle Book. However, the Disney version of him first appeared in the book's 1967 animated adaptation, voiced by Bruce Reitherman. In the film, he is an orphan raised by wolves, but when the tiger Shere Khan returns to the jungle, he is forced to travel to the human village for protection. Along the way, he encounters many of the jungle's denizens and ultimately defeats Shere Khan with fire. Hesitant to return to the human village, he spots a human girl collecting water who lures him to the village.

Mowgli also appears in the film's sequel (where he was voiced by Haley Joel Osment, who also voices Sora), the 1994 live-action remake, and the 2016 live-action remake.
