Master Magic (マスターマジック Masutā Majikku?) is a technique that appears in Kingdom Hearts II. It powers up the user's magic.

Mechanics[edit]

In Kingdom Hearts II, Master Magic is an action ability exclusive to Master Form. It increases the effectiveness of magic and alters how magic functions:

  • When casting Fire, Sora dashes forward while surrounded by a large shield of fire with multiple revolving rings, potentially hitting many enemies.
  • For Blizzard, Sora leaps forward, delivers a slash spinning vertically, and fires a large number of small ice chunks that spread outward in a cone, dealing massive damage at point-blank range. He then back flips, using the recoil of the shot to land back to where the spell was cast.
  • For Thunder, Sora flies while calling down a rapid barrage of six lightning bolts. If locked-on, he will proceed to fly around his target.
  • Reflect causes Sora to move a short distance forward before conjuring the barrier, and the barrier's radius is increased to that of a finisher. He also spins his other Keyblade in front of him to rapidly damage any enemy directly in front of him.
  • The Magnet orb lasts for a very long time. It will also now inflict extra damage to enemies and periodically launch them upward before sucking them in again, allowing Sora to catch them with his aerial combos.
