The timeline for the Kingdom Hearts series is:
- Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep (the ending scene is the last part )
- Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days (The game features the life of Roxas between the end of Kingdom Hearts and the beginning of Kingdom Hearts II, so this game is just to help explain to you about Roxas' life in the Organization)
- Kingdom Hearts Coded (The game is on a mobile phone; it was created to explain what was on that letter that King Mickey gave to Sora at the end of KHII )
- After the credits of Birth by Sleep there is a scene where Aqua encounters Ansem the Wise in the Realm of Darkness. Ansem, who had survived the explosion of his Kingdom Hearts Encoder with few of his memories remaining, reveals to Aqua what happend over the years of while she was gone and that while darkness threatens to swallow the worlds again, hope lies in the form of Sora, who prepares to set out on another journey to help all of those whose hearts are connected to his. (This scene was suppose to take place a year after Kingdom Hearts II)
