I want to amend the current image policy to allow images trademarked by Square Enix and the Walt Disney Company to be left alone because these are generally the best that can be distributed. Byzantinefire - There are no strings on me (talk) 00:26, 16 July 2017 (UTC)

The images can easily be screenshotted from the trailers. I just checked, and they don't have the trademarks during the trailer itself. I don't currently see the need to alter this part of the image policy. Also, to respect copyrights, we don't upload super high-quality; that's the price of a fair use wiki. Understand that if you continue to violate wiki policy, you will be blocked. The correct course of action is to discuss the policy, not disobey it. KeybladeSpyMaster 03:59, 16 July 2017 (UTC)

The watermark is present on such images specifically to prevent other people from using them without permission. When we have the ability to use more ethical images, we have the responsibility to, whether or not they are the highest visual quality or not.
