The Inexistent - Pitiful users, mindlessly collecting information. The rage of an edit releases this knowledge, and they all come together, to form: The Wiki!!! TALK - And on the Wiki these words appear: "My name is The_Inexistent, user of users: Look upon my edits, ye Mighty, and despair!" On the last Roundtable meeting on the IRC, we discussed a remodelling of the main page. Several users have volunteered to help in these efforts. The remodel's purpose is to both bring a fresh look to the main page (the face of the entire wiki) and to differentiate from the Wikia wiki. Any editor's ideas are welcome. Users are encouraged to create a temporary subpage to show off their ideas for the remodel, and then link to them below. Eventually, we will vote on them, and end the discussion at the next roundtable. If you wish to suggest improvements, and do not know how or have the ability to create them, please suggest them below.

Suggestions

    • We should (if we can) try to make the Command Board look a little bit easier to read. I know it's pretty straightforward on "this is what needs to be done" but I personally think we should make it look a bit more user-friendly. Nobody goes there anymore.       • It could be said that Cleanup of the Month and the Command Board are very similar, so perhaps a merging together of sorts would work? Or we could get rid of it, but improvement would work. We have more stubs than can be listed, though. --^DTN 23:59, 20 June 2011 (EDT)

• General cleanup of the text, as some of it seems very redundant. Better layout, more attractive design, not basic-looking. Look more Kingdom Hearts than Wikia. --When you said you were the fun one on the lane, who was your competition? The mailbox? - Erry 23:48, 8 May 2011 (EDT)
• I disagree with Erry to look more Kingdom Hearts than Wikia. I think we should try to keep a balance. Right now the Main Page is a little too much Kingdom Hearts. We got the more Kingdom Hearts, useless stuff up at the top where people see the most and the important necessary stuff at the bottom where people (me included) almost never look. Things like Featured article/user/media change every month, and a person is only gonna pay attention to it once. Quote of the Moment and Did You Know are fun, but never get updated, so you could practically memorize it all. Trinity Archives are good, but rarely ever get updated. I'd say we should move the ones mentioned above a little bit down and things like Command Board and Cleanup of the Month more up top. Nobody goes there anymore. • Well... I think Traverse Town needs to have its own box instead of just a link. And we should merge Cleanup of the Month with Command Board since Cleanup of the Month never did change since last year. We could put it on top of the Command Board if you guys want to. And to emphasize the Command Board, like Chitalian said, it needs a higher spot. Maybe above the Did You Know.... Also, I think the Welcome to Kingdom Hearts Wiki needs a better font, something more grand, something like what Erry did in here. And maybe we need a box for stickied Forums, or maybe important ones containing our current projects (or maybe, we can merge that with the Command Board as well). The17Master 06:54, 9 May 2011 (EDT)

• The page we have now was entirely dependent on the skin and limitations Wikia provided us with. We need to completely restructure it from scratch to not only provide something that differentiates us from KHWikia, but also to create something better now that we are free from Wikia's limitations. --^DTN 23:59, 20 June 2011 (EDT)
