Stitch is recommended for the Titan Cup partly because of Ohana, but mostly because his signature ability is to deflect almost every attack that comes close to Sora. Needless to say, he's the closest thing to my "favorite summon." They are certainly not better to use except for rare instances, as are pointed out above, but they can be fun to play around with and add more depth to the story. I've been sad to see summons essentially unused since KH2 but they did lose much of their real purpose there with the OP drive forms. In KH1 the summons were an essential piece even during boss fights and Dumbo was an especially useful summon along with Tinker Bell. I despised the D-Link system of KH:BBS which erased both summons and real drive forms. If they had a usefulness I haven't found it... Even shotlocks become rather uneeded after a certain level unless your taking on bosses in the Mirage Arena. Sorry, this was a little off-topic rant but I had to say it. XD }}

I've had this debate a few times with someone recently, so I wanted to see where other people stood on this. If you ask me, the Forms are almost always the better use of the Drive Guage. They do more damage on average, they teach Sora the growth abilities, and most give him the combined uses of 2 weapons. I never gave much the summons before, so I never really thought to ask this.Neo Bahamut 2 11:47, 17 March 2012 (UTC)

I've only ever used drive forms, I tried using Chicken Little: NO THANK YOU, FPS KEEP AWAY FROM KH. Stitch: What are you doing on my screen? You're useless just walking across my screen. 480MS.png Summons can be useful in some ways, though I prefer Drives instead. Using Stitch in the Titan Cup is an example, since his limit can really drop a lot of orbs (I've yet to test it out myself, since I've just defeated Hades half an hour ago, and have yet to summon Stitch outside Space Paranoids). Also, Genie only attacks when told to: this can come in handy with the Gambler Heartless. Also, if you summon Chicken Little in the hallway in Disney Castle (while there are Heartless) and press nothing but Triangle during the limit, you'll get tons of hits (even more than with Tron's Setup). I've yet to find a good use for Peter Pan...

I know a tip to restore the Drive Gauge very quickly without leaving a world or entering a cup. If you are interested, ask me.
