EXP Zero (EXPゼロ EXPzero?) is a passive ability that only appears in Kingdom Hearts II Final Mix. The ability prevents the player from gaining EXP for as long as it is equipped. Whilst playing under the Critical Mode difficulty the player begins the game with several abilities, EXP Zero being one of them. Aside from that, the only method of obtaining the ability is through equipping the Winner's Proof keyblade, which can be obtained once the player has completed the Mushroom XIII side quest.

Through this ability, it is possible to complete the entire game without gaining any EXP, thus resulting in a far more challenging experience.
