Actually, I believe we are required to use the most stable name that the games provide, which generally is the name that is used most, not particularly the most recent.

 No, actually, the Manual of Style says we use the first name provided, if the games have changed the subject's name.
- "If the official name of a subject has been changed in later episodes of Kingdom Hearts, please use the first name. However, redirects can be made using the later names."
Unless I'm wrong, and the Manual of Style needs to be updated (which, it probably does anyways).
