Torn Pages are key items that appear in Kingdom Hearts and Kingdom Hearts II. They have been torn out of the Old Book and retrieving them unlocks new areas in the 100 Acre Wood. In Kingdom Hearts, each area unlocked from a torn page contains a mini-game that offers a reward and completing every torn page allows Sora to lock the world's Keyhole.
Story
Kingdom Hearts
After delivering the old book to Merlin, he mentions that some pages have been torn out and scattered across the worlds. Over the course of his journeys, Sora manages to find and reattach all of the missing pages.
Kingdom Hearts II
Merlin takes the book and moves to Hollow Bastion, where a group of Heartless attempt to steal it. Luckily, Sora was there to handle the thieves however, pages were torn out of the book during the fight. This affects Winnie the Pooh, one of the book's inhabitants, as he becomes a victim of amnesia. During his adventures, Sora locates all of the torn pages and repairs the book, restoring Pooh's lost memories.
