My birthday is never on an interesting day, but always falls on the week of a long weekend. Much like yours this year. xD So what does legality in Malaysia entail? 18 in Australia means you can vote, drink and buy cigarettes. Not fantastically exciting as most people manage to do the latter two way before they're legal. =\

18 = you can drink, buy cigs, and hit clubs (yes, the legal age for clubbing over here is 18, don't be surprised). We only get to vote at age 21. So I'd call it semi-legality. Helping others always comes before asking others for help. • TroisNyxÉtienne

To be honest, with all the excessive politicking that has been going on of late, we've all become disillusioned and... I guess most Malaysians, if not all, are trying to stay as far away from political parties as possible. In my case, it's worse : I hate reading local newspapers. Not only are they biased, but they also contain the same amount of junk in the front pages. There are some things even the stars cannot tell me. • TroisNyxÉtienne

Our local paper is really quite small as our town is also small. The head journalist, though, tries to be "witty" and like a current affairs reporter in that he portrays one party as evil and one as completely righteous. Which is really quite annoying.

I know ! The same thing happens with most of our journals. The most unbiased journals can be found online, but with the amount of activity I have over here, my computer might crash if I read them. This monster... This is no Unversed. Just a dweller of Darkness. • TroisNyxÉtienne

If you can find a good one, it can be quite funny and a informative. =D And I'm much the same online. I often try to multi-task on here, but in the end I close all my programs. Photoshop eats up a lot of my RAM, unfortunately. Why can't it be nice like my word processor?

Just my little secret : when I create images, I don't user Photoshop. I use the humble PowerPoint. Take a look at the backgrounds for this and this and tell me what you think. Helping others always comes before asking others for help. • TroisNyxÉtienne

I've been using image editors for about a year now, and Photoshop for four months, but I'm still learning. Once you manage to grasp the basics, it's not that difficult. By the looks of things, you'd be a brilliant graphics artist.

That'd come in my spare time, I suppose. I'm headed for a law bachelor, and as I said earlier, my truest passion is music. Who knows, all that graphic designing could be used for something....... Helping others always comes before asking others for help. • TroisNyxÉtienne

I find it's useful for impressing teachers and peers alike, with the former giving you better marks for presentation. ^^; But once I get to uni I think it'll definitely go on the back burner. That said, Australian universities are meant to be easier than high school, so who knows? Lordy I love music. I really REALLY wish I'd learnt how to play. I think I'll give it another shot in my gap year. Do you play any instruments?

But apparently pretty low. I myself don't think so, but everyone else seems to. XD I was also introduced to the piano at an early age, but since we had no piano at home, it was hard to practise without invading my grandmother's home. Drums seem to be quite popular as of late, and I think that so long as you're passionate it's fine. Unlike some people, who play and assault music with a butcher's knife and destroy the carcass. D:< I'm sure she is, man. Well, assumedly if we can in the afterlife. Gosh darn mysteries.

If two waves whose frequencies are within 10 Hertz of each other are reaching your ears, you will hear a beat which is a decrease in volume and then an increase. The absolute value of the difference between frequencies is the number of beats per second. I am a nerd. :D

I understood the first part, but I think I got a little lost in the second. (I took all the Science subjects in high school but got rid of them after my O-Levels some two years back ::fail::). The climax of it was at midnight. Wonderful vigil I had ! ^_^ Though I'm not sure if I'll be doing anything extraordinary tomorrow later today.
