Dark Star (ブラックスター, Burakku Sutā, lit. "Black Star") is a series of techniques that appear in Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep. They are Finish commands that allow the user to perform a two-hit spin that generates a shockwave and falling meteors, and may stun or blind foes. They can be used exclusively by Terra.

Mechanics

Dark Star 1

Dark Star 1 is a Level 4 Finish command that consists of a two-hit spinning attack that creates a shockwave and summons a falling meteor. It has a 50% chance of stunning or blinding enemies.

Dark Star 2

Dark Star 2 is a Level 5 Finish command that consists of a two-hit spinning attack that creates a shockwave and summons three falling meteors. It has a 50% chance of stunning or blinding enemies.

Learning Dark Star

Dark Star 1

• Terra learns Dark Star 1 after defeating 420 enemies while Rising Rock 2 is the equipped Finish command.

Dark Star 2

• Terra learns Dark Star 2 after defeating 550 enemies while Dark Star 1 is the equipped Finish command.
