| Vala is a young woman with pale skin, green eyes, black glasses, and very long silver hair which is shoulder-length in the front and reaches to her thighs in the back. She wears a sleeveless yellow shirt with a high, puffy collar, and criss-crossing thin black straps forming an "X" over her chest with a silver [[Terra's Mark]] charm at the intersection. She wears a cream obi-sash and {{w|hakama}} with a pale turquoise trim, with a red cord tied into a knot over the obi-sash. On the lower left leg, her hakama have a yellow floral pattern around peach-colored symbols that somewhat resemble Terra's Mark. She also wears black fingerless gloves partially covered by puffy, pale-yellow detached sleeves with frilly cream trim and two black buttons on the side, as well as black boots.
