Found the Vanitas Remnant hard to beat ? Just try this one... The Unknown, a being with obscure motivations, joins the fight as an enemy... To unlock it, you must first defeat Vanitas Remnant in the Negative Tour, to unlock the Tour of Mastery. In that tour, you get one chance out of 500 to fight him with each card. With 999 points, you'll get to 1% chance of him appearing. As for the rest... It's up to sheer luck.
Just like the Sentiment, once he is defeated, you will receive a special option in the PP Catalog which allows you to fight him as a normal opponent, but you won't be able to control it.
In Battle
The Unknown is a Battle Deity, able to kill with multiple attacks that are absurdly hard to avoid. He is incredibly powerful and quick, and his relentless assaults give the opponent no time to recover.
He has 9999 HP and Level 100 (or actually higher !) stats.

| Nameless Cross | Aerial | Sends a homing projectile of pure energy towards enemy. Unlimited range, staggers on contact ; but somewhat low damage compared to the Unknown's other attacks. |

| Raging Firaja | Ground | The Unknown summons three pillars of Fire to move around him. He can move freely during this attack, but not attack. He can, however, in Ex Mode. |
| Time Render (Midair) | Aerial | The Unknown uses this attack when he is stricken in a long combo. Increases the Unknown's Bravery and HP and warps him away from the opponent who is staggered. |
| Tera Flare | Aerial | The Unknown charges and sends a fireball towards the enemy. It is extremely quick, and upon impact, the explosion has an enormous range that covers most of the field. |
Ex Mode
The Unknown may use his Ex Mode, in which he turns invisible, cannot be targeted and most importantly, uses two of his moves at the same time. He doesn't have an Ex Burst, thankfully. The Unknown receives a full Ex Gauge if you use an Assist.
Abilities
The Unknown's Block blocks most attacks, and he gains Bravery from Brave Attacks and regains HP from HP Attacks. His Block is also Barrier-like.
Battlegen
As for Vanitas Sentiment, they allow to get a powerful item, the rare Temporal Gear +, but you'll need the rarest items in order to get it.
