Luxord is the Lucky Gambler, using attacks that rely on mini-games or luck to strike his opponent.

Attacks

Brave Attacks

Move Type CP (Mastery) AP to Mastery Obtained Description
Double-Up (Ground) Ground 30 (15) 160 Initial Summons multiple spinning cards around self, in a shielding manner.
Bluff (Ground) Ground 30 (15) 160 Initial Turns into a card for a second, guarding from most Brave Attacks. If the enemy attacks, Luxord will disappear in a cloud of smoke and reappear behind the opponent ; and the card explodes in the opponent's face.
Magic Roll Ground 30 (15) 160 Level 3 Randomly casts :


  • Fira (Summons a homing fireball towards the enemy. Deals Fire damage.)
  • Blizzara (Summons a slow-moving chunk of ice towards the enemy. Deals Ice damage.)
  • Thundera (Summons bolts of thunder above the enemy. Deals Thunder damage.)
Sleight of Hand Ground 30 (15) 160 Level 18 Summons cards to strike the opponent from below, knocking him into the air.
Double-Up (Midair) Aerial 30 (15) 160 Initial Summons multiple spinning cards around self, in a shielding manner.
Bluff (Midair) Aerial 30 (15) 160 Level 9 Turns into a card for a second, guarding from most Brave Attacks. If the enemy attacks, Luxord will disappear in a cloud of smoke and reappear behind the opponent ; and the card explodes in the opponent's face.
Mystic Roll Aerial 30 (15) 160 Level 23 Randomly casts :


  • Gravira (Summons a sphere of gravity to slowly fall on the enemy. Deals Dark damage.)
  • Aera (Summons a tornado to knock the opponent into the air. Deals Wind damage.)
  • Holy (Summons multiple homing spheres of light. Deals Light damage.)
Straight Flush Aerial 30 (15) 160 Level 35 Strikes with multiple cards. If the opponent is attacking, the attack will be performed quicker.

Brave Attacks

Move Type CP (Mastery) AP to Mastery Obtained Description
Royal Flush (Ground) Ground 40 (20) 300 Initial Summons a card and performs explosions of light at very short range. If the opponent is caught, the card will alternate between X's and O's. If you manage to press Square when an X is represented, more explosions will appear before the HP hit. Finally, hitting Square with an X one last time will summon even larger bursts of light.
Four-of-a-Kind Ground 40 (20) 300 Level 13 Attempts to trap the opponent with a card. If you manage, the card will bind the opponent to the ground and he will have to mash a button (Circle, Square, X, Triangle) to break free. You will have in turn to mash the same button to slow him down. However, after some time, the card explodes.
Royal Flush (Midair) Aerial 40 (20) 300 Initial Summons a card and performs explosions of light at very short range. If the opponent is caught, the card will alternate between X's and O's. Fair Game Aerial 40 (20) 300 Level 28 Strikes the enemy by surrounding him with small versions of cards. Unavoidable, but the opponent can break free and stun Luxord by pressing Triangle at the right time.

Ex Mode

Luxord's Ex Mode is called Lady Luck : Luxord gains a golden aura and his "The Joker" weapon. He gains the ability "Dice Roll", accessible with R+Square and turning the enemy into a die for a short period of time. As a die, the opponent cannot attack, and must move by jumping. The attack itself has a long charging times.

Luxord's Ex Burst is called Slots : Luxord must match three X's in a mini-game similar to his Royal Flush HP attack. If he doesn't manage, the three cards will simply explode. But if you do, the powerful Jackpot will inflict great damage by creating multiple bursts and explosions.
