Spelling?[edit]

Why "Maccaron", with 2 Cs? The proper spelling is "macaron". Unless I'm missing something here? (ETA: also goes for the Bitter Maccaron) -Alarielle- (talk) 17:18, 10 March 2015 (UTC)

I think it was a mistake that happened when the page was created. Unless there's an intentional reason, it should be moved to its correct spelling. Thoughts? TheFifteenthMember 19:07, 10 March 2015 (UTC)
It's not necessarily a misspelling, it's the translation we have (remember, this has only appeared in Kingdom Hearts χ). Not to mention, there's recent proof that Square Enix doesn't necessarily care for actual spellings of words. We're doing a straightforward translation of the Japanese name into English. That means that the translation adheres to English rules and spellings; the Japanese has no influence here. I'm not mistaken here am I? The Beffudler is okay because we actually got an English name that Square left out for us so it's up to them however much they want to stretch their creative license. A/c Wiktionary, "maccaron" might be a valid alternate spelling. {shrug} --Neumannz, The Dark Falcon 21:17, 10 March 2015 (UTC)

There is no intentional reason behind it, I took the translation for "Bitter Maccaron" from KHInsider and went along with it. If you're uncomfortable with the spelling, change it, I have no strong feelings one way or the other. --ShardofTruth 09:32, 11 March 2015 (UTC)
