So how do we want to handle this page? - Challenge Sigil KHD.pngEternal Nothingness XIIIChallenge Sigil KHD.png 01:34, 8 April 2016 (UTC)

The story reason for the medals is the same as with the cards, so there's that. As seen in the medal screen the game divides the medals in Attack (the Japanese version uses 装備用), EXP (EXP大), Boost (上限UP), Cost (コストダウン), Evolve (進化) and Munny (マニー大) categories. Attack medals are again divided in Power (パワー), Magic (スピード), Speed (マジック) as well as Upright (アップライト) and Reverse (リバース), same as in browser [chi]. The EXP medals are the Huey, Dewey, Louie exp and Scrooge skill medals; the boost medals are the Chip and Dale for stats boosting and the Mickey & Brooms medal for ability multiplier boosting; the cost (reduction) medals are the Cid medals in all their stacking forms; the evolve medals are the three fairies, Merlin, the Cheshire Cat, the Fairy Godmother, Yen Sid, the Sorcerer Mickey and the broom medals; and finally the munny medals are are Moogle medals.
There are currently 516 medals in the Japanese version and probably a lot more to come, so we should already set up subpages/category pages. Sorting them by rarity (1 star to six stars) is not a good idea because a character set shares the same ability and can evolved until it reaches the highest rarity. --ShardofTruth 11:12, 8 April 2016 (UTC)
Would this kind of format help?"We're werewolves, not swearwolves." (KrytenKoro) 12:13, 8 April 2016 (UTC)

How are we doing medal stats, then? --Neumannz, The Dark Falcon 18:43, 8 April 2016 (UTC)

Mechanics questions[edit]

  1. If you Level Up a medal with another of the same medal, what is the formula for the EXP amount? If use a Jiminy Cricket ★★ on another Jiminy Cricket, the amount of EXP I get goes from 40 to 90. --Neumannz, The Dark Falcon 13:56, 8 April 2016 (UTC)
Don't use any other medals than exp medals to level up your medals, ever, it's a waste of munny. I don't know how much EXP you'll get but it's next to nothing, only the medal's level has a huge impact and of course the exp of matching types are multiplied with 1.5. You should only fuse with duplicate to increase the ability multiplier (the yellow dots) and eventually activate Guilt (not yet implemented in the NA version). --ShardofTruth 16:36, 8 April 2016 (UTC)
I haven't actually used any character medals to level up, I'm only previewing. So why is the multiplier different for the duplicate? Is it consistent for all duplicates? --Neumannz, The Dark Falcon 17:10, 8 April 2016 (UTC)
  1. What is the significance of the sparkly ones? They seem to get the x1.5 bonus that normally happens for "like" types. --Neumannz, The Dark Falcon 14:24, 8 April 2016 (UTC)
I don't know what you mean with sparkly one, but that is probably your shared medal, the one everybody in the team can use. --ShardofTruth 16:36, 8 April 2016 (UTC)
