Is it just me, or does the Ursus Keyblade look somewhat similar to Ends of the Earth? Troisnyx 18:23, 12 May 2015 (UTC)

Well, the colors are very similar, and the general shape is reminiscent. --Neumannz, The Dark Falcon 22:04, 12 May 2015 (UTC)
I wouldn't be surprised if they revealed that Eraqus's school is descended from Ursus, no."We're werewolves, not swearwolves." (KrytenKoro) 02:10, 13 May 2015 (UTC)
Let's not forget that crazy "Xehanort is a Foreteller" theory KHInsider posted that links Terra, Ventus, Aqua, Kairi, and Riku to the different schools. Crazy as the theory sounds, it is so like Nomura to do something like it. Just look at the plot of KH3D...but I digress. Gosh...the speculative nature of this conversation screams "move to forums" to me... - Challenge Sigil KHD.pngEternal Nothingness XIIIChallenge Sigil KHD.png 02:20, 13 May 2015 (UTC)

It probably does. Anyway, Ursus is actually the rarest Union among English-speakers who actually do play X; everyone tends to go for Anguis, Leopardos and Vulpeus, and a lesser number tend to go for Unicornis, from what I've seen on forums asking for users who play X.

If Nomura drops a plot point like this, it'd be too much of a deus ex machina to pull. The foreteller of Ursus is just too big and bulky to be Xehanort, and I think that Xehanort probably isn't a foreteller. Wouldn't a foreteller have to be skilled enough as to not be an apprentice of sorts? Yet Eraqus and Xehanort and Yen Sid all went for tutelage under an unnamed master. I kinda cannot help but think Xehanort is one of the masses. TRSNX 12:20, 13 May 2015 (UTC)

The theory that I heard is that Xehanort is a descendant (through the Keyblade's will) of the lost sixth foreteller."We're werewolves, not swearwolves." (KrytenKoro) 13:45, 13 May 2015 (UTC)
Sixth Foreteller is a misleading term though because the Foretellers are defined by their possession of the Book of Prophecy, which the sixth apprentice of their master seemingly doesn't have access too. --ShardofTruth 13:59, 13 May 2015 (UTC)

Name[edit]

Do these Keyblades have individual names? If not, is there a official Japanese name for "Foreteller's Keyblade"? TheSilentHero 15:35, 7 June 2015 (UTC)

There aren't individual names mentioned in the game, but this is always the case for non-player Keyblades, since even the named ones are only called this way in the menus. The only source for Foreteller's Keyblade (予知者のキーブレード) is the Japanese wiki but this doesn't mean much since, again, these non-Player Keyblades are only named in the Ultimanias and often it's not a real name but a placeholder (Master Xehanort's/Young Xehanort's/Lea's/Vanitas'/Kairi's/Master Eraqus' Keyblade etc.). An Ultimania for KHX doesn't exist so thr "name" is pure speculation, although it fits the established naming scheme. --ShardofTruth 19:12, 7 June 2015 (UTC)
Now that we have usable "X's Keyblade" names for these, should we keep this page or turn it into a pure disambig? If kept, what should it cover that other pages wouldn't be covering?"We're werewolves, not swearwolves." (KrytenKoro) 13:46, 8 April 2016 (UTC)

Designs[edit]

I have designs written for each of the Keyblades as well as Moogle of Glory. Should I add them? 97.81.38.40 21:13, 7 September 2015 (UTC) Rex Ronald Rilander

The section is a stub that could use more expanding. There's no reason to ask to add more info, just do it, and see what the admins decide to do with it; whether they keep it as is, alter it to better suit the standards of the Wiki, or remove it if it doesn't meet the standards at all. You'll never know until you actually put it in. Blackchaos27 (talk) 22:33, 7 September 2015 (UTC)
K, I'll get right on that. 97.81.38.40 22:37, 7 September 2015 (UTC) Rex Ronald Rilander

Some admin wanted these removed, instead of altering the edits himself. So I'm keeping these notes in the talk page until I or someone else can figure out how to improve them:

  • Anguis: The Keyblade's main colors are varying shades of pale-blue with some light-purple. The guard is incomplete on one side and bears crystal-like leaves on the four corners. The handle is an architectural column. The hilt bears a cobra with its tail curved into an infinity shape, and has leaves on both sides. The Keyblade's teeth are a vine-like structure with leaves and thorns. On the side opposite the teeth are some more leaves, and in between the two sides is a dark-indigo heart-like symbol with a whitish outline. The Keychain's links also have leaves on them and the Keychain token slightly resembles the token of the Chaos Ripper, though only a little, as the token is a different color and has four leaves on it.
  • Leopardos: The Keyblade's main colors are varying shades of pale-yellow with some grey. The blade looks as though it has been shaped by a diamond cutter and has a sword-like design. The guard is very stone-like but also a bit like storm clouds. The handle is a dark-indigo arcitectural column. The hilt bears a leopard with its ears curved into "devil horns", and above the leopard is a smokey grey heart with a pale-yellow outline. The Keyblade's teeth are an array of rock spires and/or lightning bolts. The Keychain's links also have rock spires and/or lightning bolts on them and the Keychain token slightly resembles the token of The Keyblade of Master Xehanort. However, the token is a different color and has a total of five points on it instead of six.
  • Unicornus: The Keyblade's main colors are varying shades of white with some blackish-blue. The blade looks as though it has been shaped by a diamond cutter and has a pointed design. The guard is made of two S-shaped clouds or snow banks. The handle is a dark-grey architectural column. The hilt bears a unicorn with its horn sticking out from the Keyblade. The end of the blade possesses many sharp spikes resembling a stretched "X" shape, with another spike on the side which is connected to a blackish-blue crescent structure with a white outline, which in turn is connected to the top two spikes. In the center of the "X" is a blackish heart-like symbol with a pale golden-yellow outline. The Keychain's links have a similar design to the token and the end of the blade. The token also resembles a five(or six)-pointed star over a crescent.
  • Ursus: The Keyblade's main colors are light-brown, severely dark-brown, and dark-teal. The blade looks as though its made completely out of rock and thus has a rocky design. The guard is made of entirely dark-teal stone with some reaching up into the blade. The handle is a stone-grey architectural column. The hilt showcases the symbol of the Ursus Union: A bear. The Keyblade's teeth are a pincer-like shape, a "bear claw" if you will. The shaft of the Keyblade features intricate designs, two of which resemble hearts, one small and incomplete at the bottom, the other large and long. The Keychain's links are composed of red gems and the Keychain token resembles that of a rock.
  • Vulpeus: The Keyblade's main colors are light pink, yellow, and light sky blue. The blade looks somewhat like a spiral of clouds, water, or even cotton candy. The blade starts out light pink then transitions to yellow, then slightly green, and finally light sky blue. The guard's top and bottom are seperated, the top half having the same coloration as the blade, and the bottom half looking like a stylized "M". The handle is an orange-brown architectural column. The hilt bears a fox over an intricate design. The Keyblade's teeth extend from the swirled shaft and bear a pink heart shape with an orange outline. The Keychain's links are copies of the bottom part of the guard and the Keychain token somewhat resembles the token of the Stormfall, bearing a somewhat similar shape. However, the token is a different color and has round top corners instead of pointed ones. Blackchaos27 (talk) 05:49, 8 September 2015 (UTC)

Deletion[edit]

Just following policy here, but does anyone have objections to this page's deletion? All of the Foretellers have their own Keyblades' articles now, so there's no need to keep this around, right?--NinjaSheik 21:04, 7 February 2017 (UTC)

No objections. Do run a final check that all usable info has been split to respective pages, tho."We're werewolves, not swearwolves." (KrytenKoro) 21:57, 7 February 2017 (UTC)
