Shouldn't this be [[Diamond Dust (Style)]]? It's most definitely not a command. TheFifteenthMember 19:19, 3 April 2015 (UTC)

Well, it is the name of the Finish command... (I'm not saying that's reason enough not to move, I'm just saying.) --Neumannz, The Dark Falcon 19:40, 3 April 2015 (UTC)
True, but the Finish command isn't really the main part of the technique. I'm sure viewers will recognise a "(Style)" tag much more than if they saw "(Command)" (which usually prompts thoughts of Deck Commands etc.) TheFifteenthMember 19:56, 3 April 2015 (UTC)
Command Styles consist of three things: a visual modification with no practical game effect, a Surge or Storm base command, and a finish command. The Finish command is what's listed in the Report, and I think it's pretty straightforward that it would be confusing to merge all the Surge and Storm commands together. It's a special type of command, certainly, and for stuff like this I prefer we use existing parsers instead of creating new ones. I'm not entirely convinced Vexen's Limit Break should be separate, and we also have stuff like Cyclone, which is a Command Style here and a basic Command in Re:coded. Really, these are all various forms of techniques, and "Command" is the terminology the recent games seem to prefer to use for that.
Sidenote, the various command style pages really need to be standardized, their format is all over the place. Also, do the Ultimania list anything on which commands contribute to which Command Styles? Like, if I use Firaga and Thundara, will I go into Firestorm or Thunderbolt?"We're werewolves, not swearwolves." (KrytenKoro) 20:14, 3 April 2015 (UTC)

EDIT CONFLICT: We do have a "Style" parser though—e.g. [[Fire Raid (Style)]], which can't be called a "command" because (a) Fire Raid and (b) the style doesn't have a Finish command. --Neumannz, The Dark Falcon 20:20, 3 April 2015 (UTC)

I believe all styles should be separated from other techniques such as limits and commands because they function too differently. They should take the "Style" parser. TheFifteenthMember 22:39, 3 April 2015 (UTC)
I've been of the opinion that fire raid is pretty similar in both versions, not falling outside of the range of varying depictions for normal commands, like Holy.
If you guys have to split it, I guess that's fine.192.249.47.186 23:10, 3 April 2015 (UTC)
