Event Horizon

Does anyone know if this was ever named in English anywhere for the Days appearance? I don't believe you can see the name of the Limits in the game, and with both KHUX and KH3 calling it Black Hole, we might need to change all mentions of it to Black Hole. I think it would. It's not as official as the Ultimanias, but we've used names from there before, like Keyblade Armor. TheSilentHero 18:23, 30 January 2020 (UTC)

I just checked the Bradygames guides and the game's own tutorials but couldn't find the name of any Limit Cut. --ShardofTruth 18:33, 30 January 2020 (UTC)

I approve the notion that "Black Hole" be made a separate page from Event Horizon as Black Hole and Event Horizon have two completely different functions and different names in English. It would be easy to prevent any confusion from their Japanese names by using {{Youmay}} for the two terms, similar to the pages for Bone Smash and Bone Crusher (there are other pages that do this too). I don't think they're that different. And the problem is that the move from Days doesn't have an official English translation. So I think we should just move it to Black Hole, since that is the official translation. As for your example, those abilities share the same Japanese name and are very similar, so they should be merged. TheSilentHero 17:25, 5 March 2020 (UTC)

I will admit two-years-ago me was wrong and didn't know what he was talking about, and that the page should be moved to Black Hole. I will move it soon if nobody else has anything to say about it (or if it hasn't already been moved).

By the way, as mentioned elsewhere in the talk page, I presume all mentions of Event Horizon should be changed to Black Hole to account for the official translation? If so then we should add the Translation template to the rest of the Limit Break pages since they also don't have official translations in either the game or Bradygames as far as I'm aware. I will go ahead and move the page. And yes, all mentions of Event Horizon should be changed to Black Hole. You're right about the translation template, we should use that. I'm just not sure if it would also apply for Diamond Dust, Berserk, or Explosion, since those got official names in other games, although we have separate pages for the Limit Breaks. I'll give the Limit Break pages the template then, excluding Diamond Dust/Berserk/Explosion given that their Japanese names are officially translated in other instances of the name, whereas the rest of the Limit Breaks' Japanese names are without any official translation period. Same logic as changing the references of Roxas/Xion's Limit Break to Black Hole despite not being officially named in 358/2 Days, basically. Pureautism (talk) 02:07, 29 March 2022 (UTC)
