The Hollow Bastion Restoration Committee is an organization seen in Kingdom Hearts II. It was founded some time beween the end of Kingdom Hearts and the start of Kingdom Hearts II.
Goals
The Restoration Committee was founded in the hope of restoring Radiant Garden to its former glory. Meetings take place in Merlin's house in Hollow Bastion.
Accomplishments
Within a year's work, the committee manages to restore most of the town's former image.
Cid created a defense system called Claymores that would destroy weaker Heartless and occupy stronger ones until a committee member could arrive to dispose of them. Sora and company assist Leon in finding Ansem the Wise's secret lab, Ansem's computer and Xehanort's notes on the Heartless.
While using the computer Sora and company entered the digital realm of Space Paranoids and with the assistance of Tron were able to get back to search for a password that would open up the dataspace. The Master Control Program got access to the dataspace and started to destroy the town. Two areas of the town were partially destroyed by this but gave access to new areas. Heartless swarmed the town and the Committee with the assistance of Cloud, Tifa, Stitch, and the Gullwings (who had to be bribed into joining their side) defended Radiant Garden from a Heartless Invasion. Sora fought against the Heartless in the Battle of 1000 Heartless.
When Sora returned to Hollow Bastion, he found out that the MCP had hacked into the town's defense system and was making Heartless in the Heartless Manufactory in Ansem's study. Merlin and Cid put together a program that could rid Space Paranoids of the MCP. Sora reentered the computer and helped Tron destroy the MCP and and gave Tron full control of the digital realm. This would allow Tron access to restricted files in Ansem the Wise's computer. Tron showed the citizens of Hollow Bastion how their home used to look and revealed it's original name of Radiant Garden.
Members
All members of the Hollow Bastion Restoration Committee carry a membership card. Sora's card was able to give him access to the worlds of Land of Dragons and Beast's Castle by opening one of the World Gates.
