Since Xion just woke up from her prolonged coma, Saïx sends Roxas, Axel, and Xion to Twilight Town. This makes it the only three man mission in Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days. Just before encountering the second Heartless, Xion falls unconscious and collapses. Axel tends to her while Roxas engages the Heartless. As they take her to her room, Saïx mocks Xion, but Roxas and Axel cut him off. Roxas remarks on Axel worrying about Xion, and Axel replies that it’s because the three of them are best friends. Meanwhile, Saïx wonders if Axel has forgotten their past.
