Game Clear Data KHRECOM.png Okay, we know that at least the Japanese first version of KH3D will contain an ar card for three rare Dream Eaters. Not only does this this raise new questions like "Will there be a rare Dream Eater version for every "species" (like the shiny variant in Pokémon)?", "Can we get these Dream Eaters without these cards in the game?", "Will there be more cards (most likely yes)"? and the maybe the most important one: "Will some of these cards be exclusive (retailer pre-order, Japanese magazine extra, only valid for the Final Mix version of KH3D)?". We don't know that yet, although I say a Final Mix version for KH3D is unlikely;-)

But hold on, there is actually another reason I made this post for: How will the wiki handle these cards?

For all I know ar cards are actually a code the 3DS translates and unlocks/links to/shows stuff that is already available in the specific software, like the QR codes for mobile phones so to speak. From this perspective it would be no problem to upload images of these cards here, then everyone could use them to unlock these bonus in KH3D without problems. Is this legal?

KrytenKoro - Most bears were content to live their lives, mauling and eating one, maybe two humans at most. "Mass-murder," as the bears always said, "is for the sharks." But not Barry. Barry was different. He knew that one day, he would kill ALL of the humans. This is the inspiring, tear-jerking story of one bear and the dream he dared to dream.

I see no reason why it would be less legal than putting up renders taken from inside the game coding; after all, it's absolutely within our purview and all we'd be doing is taking a picture.

Depending on how the cards actually work (can they be used offline? are they one-per-Dream Eater?), we would probably either have a single list page with info on all of them, or incorporate them into the KH3D Dream Eater infobox.

Game Clear Data KHRECOM.png This sounds reasonable, now we have just to wait (and I have to get a 3DS).

As a 3DS owner, I can testify that it can definitely scan things off of a computer screen, as I have done it before with Mii QR codes. The AR Cards should be no different, though I wonder what the full functionality will be. It's possible that the card may also have a code necessary to be entered, or perhaps the only use of these special Dream Eaters is to play with them in the AR section. Whatever the case, it will be hard to know until the game releases in Japan.

Nekubboi appeared during gameplay in the Special Trailer, so I don't think it is AR-only.

LightGroose - "I like to call... the Legend of Groose."
TALK - "I think I'll call this place... Grooseland."
Kid Icarus: Uprising has a similar feature in terms of collectible cards, but I think those might be AR only.
Old topic, I know but Nekuppoi, Kindanyan and Kumada Daisakasu can all be made with certain recipes. I took screenshots of these recipes. Ay, dios mio! I might be late tomorrow. - Erry 17:37, 2 May 2012 (UTC)
I'll try to upload the image when I get home, but Gamestop's computers list KH3D as "Kingdom Hearts 3D CE with AR Cards", so...yeah, they're bundled with the game, and not pre-orders. Amazon was just lying, according to the Gamestop rep.192.249.47.177 19:29, 2 May 2012 (UTC)
Acording to this image not all 5 cards are included in the Amazon offer. --ShardofTruth 19:46, 2 May 2012 (UTC)
