Wyvern

The Wyvern is a draconic Emblem Heartless. It is initially found exclusively in Hollow Bastion, but after the world's keyhole is sealed, it can be found in other worlds. It is quite powerful, and attacks with claws and a corkscrew charge. It has a tendency to soar high up in the air, and then swoop down vertically on the enemy, dealing damage. It drops large HP orbs and occasionally a Power Crystal.

Wyvern Heartless are recolored blue in Kingdom Hearts: Final Mix. The same blue variants have appeared in video footage in the official site of Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days.

Kingdom Hearts

Giant Heartless that attack from the air. They are quite swift for their size and are hard to attack, especially while they are high in the air. Counterattacking when they come down would be most effective.

An enormous Heartless that hunts its enemies from the skies.

The Wyvern is agile despite its size. Upon sighting its prey, it rushes forward and attacks with a flurry of kicks.

Abilities

Wyverns are able to maintain what seems to be almost effortless flight. Their feet never touch the ground, and they are able to soar to heights unreachable by Sora. These Heartless are capable of powerful ramming attacks, and corkscrew dives, both of which can be deadly and shave off respectable amounts of HP.

The Heartless Tail Banker and Avalanche resemble re-designed Wyvern Heartless.
