The Wyvern is a draconic Emblem Heartless. It is initially found exclusively in Hollow Bastion, but after the world's keyhole is sealed, it can be found in other worlds. It is quite powerful, and attacks with claws and a corkscrew charge. It drops large HP orbs and occasionally a Power Crystal. A more powerful blue variation, called the Arch Wyvern, appears in Kingdom Hearts: Final Mix.

Giant Heartless that attack from the air. They are quite swift for their size and are hard to attack, especially while they are high in the air. Counterattacking when they come down would be most effective.

An enormous Heartless that hunts its enemies from the skies.
The Wyvern is agile despite its size. Upon sighting its prey, it rushes forward and attacks with a flurry of kicks.
