Vitality Barrier is an ability in Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days that can be equiped via accessories or ability units for certain weapons. The ability itself decreases damage from single hits and combos down to ⅓ the usual damage while the player's HP is at full. You get this ability when you have the Recovery Ring on, or:
- When you equip the Hazard Gear with two ability units (when playing as Roxas or Xion).
- When you equip the Champion+ Gear with one ability unit (when playing as Xigbar).
- When you equip the Zero Gear (when playing as Riku).
- When you equip the Pandora's+ Gear with two ability units (when playing as Roxas).
