Sheltering Zones (シェルタリングゾーン Sherutaringuzōn) are enemies from Kingdom Hearts.
Resembling a jellyfish, Sheltering Zones are one of the two large species of Heartless found exclusively in Atlantica and its corresponding area in End of the World. They form a symbiotic relationship with Sea Neons, and may usually be found with a group of them.
A Sheltering Zone, very much like an Aquatank, is quite docile in battle unless disturbed. Sheltering Zones attack by swiping their tentacles at Sora and his party. They are also the only enemy that Sora takes damage from just by touching it. If a Sheltering Zone is destroyed by a weapon as opposed to magic, it will split into three Sea Neons.
Sheltering Zones are exactly identical to Sea Neons; simply larger in size.

Kingdom Hearts
Heartless resembling a jellyfish. You receive damage just from colliding with it. They move slow, but break up into many Sea Neons if struck. They fling their tentacles away to keep their enemies away.

- So far, Sheltering Zones have only appeared in Kingdom Hearts, while most of the other Heartless have been in Chain of Memories or Kingdom Hearts II, along with Kingdom Hearts.
