| According to [[Yen Sid]], the pure lights in the [[Princesses of Heart]] have moved on to new hosts, known as the {{nihongo|'''New Seven Hearts'''|ニューセブンハート|Nyū Sebun Hāto}}, with the exception of [[Kairi]], who did not pass on her power. As Yen Sid further explains, this happened shortly after they were used to reveal the [[Final Keyhole]], confirming that the seven lights "reincarnate". The [[real Organization XIII]] planned to use the New Seven Hearts as a backup, and would attack them in case the [[Seven Guardians of Light]] could not find all of their members.
