Limits

Limits are special attacks in Kingdom Hearts 2. Available only when a certain character is in the party, by pressing the X and Triangle button, limits enable the player to initiate devastating attacks.

Limits are generally more effective against monsters than boss characters, as the Limit pulls the monsters towards the player and therefore damages them more. Some limits (e.g. Eternal Session, Trinity Limit) allow Sora to move freely, while most others (Treasure Isle, Complete Complement) restrict movement.

The limits of major characters are as follows: Sora: Trinity Limit Donald: Fantasia, Duck Flare Goofy: Twister Fusion, Teamwork Riku: Eternal Session

Each world-sepecific character has a special Limit that s/he can perform when Sora is near. Mulan: Dragonblaze Beast: Twin Howl Auron: Bushido Jack Skellington: Applause, Applause! Aladdin: Trick Fantasy Jack Sparrow: Treasure Isle Simba: Simba's Pride Tron: Complete Complement
