Level Up

Level Up (LVアップ, LV Appu, lit. "LV Up") is a Support Panel that appears in Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days as part of the Panel System. It is also a stat chip in Kingdom Hearts Re:coded which works in the same manner as in Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days. Equipping this type of panel increases the player's level by one.

By placing Level Up panels in the link zone of certain panels, the player's level will increase by more than one. The player can reach Level 100 by equipping all level-multiplying panels and filling their link zones with Level Up panels.

In Kingdom Hearts Re:coded, Level Up is a chip that can be installed in the Stat Matrix. Installing one will increase Data-Sora's level, raising his Strength, Defense, and Magic points by 2, and his HP by 3.

Obtaining

In Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days, a Level Up panel is obtained every time the player gains enough experience from defeating enemies during missions.

A handful of Level Up panels can also be obtained through other means.

• Level Up panels are available for purchase for 180 Heart Points once Roxas is promoted to Novice rank (Day 7), for 1200 Heart Points once Roxas is promoted to Rookie rank (Day 117), and for 2500 Heart Points once Roxas is promoted to Expert rank (Day 225).
• Level Up panels can be redeemed for 90, 140, 210, and 230 Challenge Sigils from the Moogle Shop.

In Kingdom Hearts Re:coded, a Level Up chip is obtained only by gaining enough experience by defeating enemies.

Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days

LV Doubler

LV Doubler (LV2プラス, LV2 Purasu, lit. "LV2 Plus") is a Support Panel that increases the player's level by two for each Level Up panel in its link area.

There is one LV Doubler ⑤ and four LV Doubler ⑥ panels, each with a different configuration of its link zone.

• Received from Saïx in the Grey Area on Day 52.
• Received as a clear bonus for Mission 42.
• Received as a clear bonus for Mission 56.
• Redeemed for 180 Challenge Sigils from the Moogle Shop.
• Redeemed for 260 Mission Crowns from the Moogle Shop.

LV Tripler

LV Tripler ④ (LV3プラス④, LV3 Purasu ④, lit. "LV3 Plus ④") is a Support Panel that increases the player's level by three for each Level Up panel in its link area.

There are three LV Tripler ④ panels, each with a different configuration of its link zone.

• Received as a clear bonus for Mission 65.
• Received as a clear bonus for Mission 77.
• Redeemed for 220 Challenge Sigils from the Moogle Shop.

LV Quadrupler

LV Quadrupler ③ (LV4プラス③, LV4 Purasu ③, lit. "LV4 Plus ③") is a Support Panel that increases the player's level by four for each Level Up panel in its link area.

There are three LV Quadrupler ③ panels, each with a different configuration of its link zone.

• Received as a clear bonus for Mission 88.
• Available for purchase for 6000 Heart Points once Roxas is promoted to Legend rank (after clearing Day 358).
• Redeemed for 220 Mission Crowns from the Moogle Shop.

Dual-Processing with multiple Level Up chips

In Kingdom Hearts Re:coded, the effect of Level Up chips can be doubled through the use of Dual-Processing, placing the chips between two active CPUs.
