FA icon.png I need you all to see Special:Wantedpages - and just look at the amount of red links. Think we should do something about them, guys ?

Thing is, ENX thought that you were supposed to just delete the links from that page, but no editing option appeared... that's becuase that the page doesn't work that way. You click on the link by each red link, and go that page to look at the red link. Note that not all links need to have their brackets removed, as some of these links are about unwritten information on Days/KHII abilities.

Let's set a goal date so that 99% of these links can be removed - say, by the end of this year ?

Keyblade-Blk.png I support! Well, I also helped come up with this project. :P We have a large supply of committed editors to help us with this. With us all, I know that we can do this, easily. Let's get right on this, everyone! ^_^

KrytenKoro - Most bears were content to live their lives, mauling and eating one, maybe two humans at most. "Mass-murder," as the bears always said, "is for the sharks." But not Barry. Barry was different. He knew that one day, he would kill ALL of the humans. This is the inspiring, tear-jerking story of one bear and the dream he dared to dream.
TALK -
I heartily disagree with that method. If a term comes from the games, it needs to have either an article or a redirect. The only red links that should be deleted are those that are fan-made or unofficial terms.

However, any of these that use the old templates or names for Days weapons just need to be re-saved, so that the new version of the template is loaded. No actual editing necessary, unless the wrong template is being called.

FA icon.png So what's there to be done with the 500-odd red links ? If they don't have anything to link to, then should we just start deleting them from the pages ?

A big part of those links come from user pages and talk pages though, we'd have to go around archives and stuff and that would leave a lot of 'you have a new message in the KH wiki' things across users, which might be quite an annoyance to many.

The best method to eliminating the reds (that I've found, anyway) is pretty simple. You'll notice to the right of the link is another that says "## links". Clicking on that will tell you exactly what pages link to that topic. Taking at look at the first one, all that's happened is a simple redirect that went wrong. So what needs to happen is one of our Gnomes needs to go through those links, take out Gullwing (Keyblade) and replace it with the correct article name. I have a feeling most of those are either bad redirects or items that need redirects. That way, though, we can know for sure which are genuine needs, which just need a quick and simple fix, and which ones are garbage.
